Kamelo, the little chameleon who changes color
Kamelo keeps your child company every evening. He’s warm, curious, a little clumsy, and always glad to see them. Here he is, animated by the same engine as in the app.
His mood
His color
His rewards
In the app, colors, patterns and accessories are earned by practicing, with color drops. Nothing is for sale.
He takes on the color of the subject
Blue for spelling and reading, yellow for math, green for lessons and science, purple for poems, orange for languages, and teal when he’s resting. On the home screen, he wears your child’s favorite color. When he changes color, the new color spreads through his whole little world.
Seven moods, and never a mocking one
Calm, curious, happy, proud, thinking, encouraging, sleepy. Kamelo never mocks, never sulks and never turns red with anger. After a few days without practice, he just looks a little paler, and his colors come back at the next session.
A mistake? That’s an “almost”
When your child makes a mistake, Kamelo tilts his head and encourages them, with no red and no failure sound. The missed item comes back a little later. When today’s homework is done, Kamelo celebrates with a somersault.
He doesn’t talk in words
Kamelo babbles in his little voice, with no real words, and everything he says on screen is written in advance. You can’t chat with him, and that’s on purpose.
He falls asleep at 8:30 pm
After 8:30 pm, Kamelo gets sleepy in the app: he yawns and his eyelids droop. Reminders only go to parents, on school nights.
An original character, and a lively one
Kamelo was designed for the app. He’s a digital puppet: he breathes, blinks and looks around, never twice the same way. The same engine animates him on iPhone, on Android and on this site.
Questions parents ask
Why a chameleon?
Because he changes color: each subject has its own, so your child sees right away what they’re working on. And because a chameleon is small, curious and a little clumsy, like a good homework buddy.
Can rewards be bought?
No. Colors, patterns and accessories are earned with color drops, by practicing. There are no purchases in the child space.
Can my child change Kamelo’s color?
Yes: on the home screen, Kamelo wears your child’s favorite color, and your child can dress him up with what they’ve earned.
Tonight’s homework, without the fight.
Planned for the US in January 2027. France comes first, from October 2026.
